While on holiday in Scotland, aristocratic detective Lord Peter Wimsey (Ian Carmichael) is called upon to solve the suspicious death of an unpopular local artist by the name of Campbell. Although Campbell appears to have died in an accidental fall, his previous arguments with a number of locals lead Wimsey to believe he was murdered. With a key bit of evidence missing from the scene of the crime and six possible suspects to contend with, Wimsey quickly realizes he wont have much time for trout fishing. Adapted from the Dorothy L.
