The feature-film debut of director Zack Snyder, Dawn of the Dead is a modern retelling of George Romeros 1978 horror classic, which was actually the second film in a trilogy that began with Night of the Living Dead and concluded with Day of the Dead. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I like the different take on the original "Dawn of the Dead" but with the same theme.The HD version is much better than the original DVD version. It is so realistic in many ways and would probably happen just like it did with many of the characters not knowing about the outbreak until it is too late. I like these zombies having the ability to run fast and having some strength. I know the Milwaukee area well and it is just like many American Cities. I guess the only thing I really care about was I wish the ending could have had a different story. I was hoping they could really find an island out in Lake Michigan that does isolate them from Zombies. O well, we can't have it all!
