Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I watched the movie many times with my granddaughter, and over the objections of my wife. My wife's objection was to some of the language but in my opinion the language was necessary to help in the plot development. She also did not like the implied un-married relationship between the aduilts but again, I felt like it was necessary for plot development.
