ROD is an awesome anime with an original cast that sets it apart from many movies out there. This movie is actually an OVA with 3 episodes that when combined make for a pretty action packed and hard hitting tour-de-force. There are a few slow parts but the characters are engaging enough to make it worthwhile. It was aired a few years back on Adult Swim and has a great English Dub over. If your a purist the japanese voice acting is of course excellent with subtitles. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DVD!
