Environmental terrorists with an agenda find a way to sneak the deadly H5n3 bird flu virus, an even quicker killer than the H5n1 strain, into America. The world becomes paralyzed with fear, and the fight is on to stop the spread before the United States� social, economic, and political infrastructure becomes crippled as a result of the disease. In the first few days the world�s attention is riveted on Fargo, North Dakota, where the virus is first introduced and where people are dying by the hundreds.
