Margaret Baker of Glencoe Wordsmithing reviewed "Where Did Laurita Go?" in her Bookshelf column in the publication Kaw Valley Senior. Ms. Baker described the storyline "Lori Anne Bailey stopped a would be store robber, and the resultant publicity almost destroyed her-she's been in the witness protection program. Will it result in her Mafia husband finding her? First novel from an author with experience in children's books and short stories.
Ms. Baker shared that the book is "written with a taut plot, dialogue advancing both plot and characterization. The protagonist is sympathetic, a naive lass who betrayed by the men who should have protected her from evil. The several twists and red herrings kept this reader alert."
