Players looking for a Sunday drive will not find "slow and happy" here. In this game, it's all about The Fast and the Furious. Based on the 2006 film, the game gives players a glance and a chance at drift racing. Drifting is a style of racing that relies on a driver's sense of balance between speeding and gliding through courses with hairpin turns and switchbacks. The Fast and the Furious is intended to include the first authentic drift model system that will challenge seasoned pros and beginners in the underground racing circuit.
Players take the role of Sean Boswell, a rough and tough loner who loves racing, and unfortunately, loves another man's lady. Sean will go against the clock and other racers to prove his drifting prowess, earn the respect of his fellow drivers, and get away with the girl. There are over 100 licensed wheels, and 500 body kits from real JDM companies to pimp a ride with, and engines can be swapped for a complete motorcar makeover. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide
