Although it follows the basic design of earlier console games in Natsume's farm-sim series, Another Wonderful Life brings a few changes to the rural world of Harvest Moon. Players can take the role of a young woman (instead of a male character), and look toward starting a family as they court one of the nearby town's eligible bachelors. The game is broken into six distinct chapters, which represent stages in the main character's life. Each of these chapters features lots of familiar, free-form farm life gameplay, however, as players must choose, plant, and tend their crops, care for their animals, and improve their properties if they hope to truly lead a Another Wonderful Life. This GameCube edition of Harvest Moon can be connected to its GBA companion release, More Friends of Mineral Town, through a link cable, to unlock special features. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
