These televisions include new advanced Toshiba technologies such as
PixelPure 3G and DynaLight. PixelPure 3G advanced 14-bit internal
digital video processing offers 4,096 levels of gradation for 16
times the gradation levels of standard 8-bit systems, and now
creates cleaner more natural images by incorporating new enhanced
MPEG noise reduction technology.

- 1080p Full HD Display
With Full HD, there's no need to scale down a 1080 signal. With twice
the pixel resolution of 720p HD models, Full HD creates the pinnacle
in picture quality.
- ATSC/NTSC & QAM Digital Television Tuners
ATSC is the 8VSB (8-level Vestigial Sideband Modulation) system. This
is the digital TV broadcast system chosen by the ATSC (Advanced
Television Systems Committee) for broadcast TV in the USA. QAM
(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) is the digital TV system chosen by
the U.S. Cable TV companies for use over digital cable. Toshiba
integrated digital TVs have both ATSC and QAM digital tuning
capability so that you can receive terrestrial digital broadcasts as
well as digital "cable-in-the-clear" broadcasts.
- CineSpeed
CineSpeed LCD panels have the 8ms or faster response speed necessary
for cleaner high-action home theater images. A wide 176 degree viewing
angle ensures that you'll have the best seat in the house.
- ColorBurst
ColorBurst significantly increases the LCD color space to reproduce
90%+ of the NTSC Color Gamut.
By utilizing proprietary image processing and color control
algorithms, ColorBurst expands the number of available colors and
improves the color accuracy. This significantly improves both color
purity and color saturation.
The combination of ColorBurst and superior video processing creates
colors that are more vibrant, more natural, and more enjoyable.
All 2007 1080p Full HD REGZA models include ColorBurst to provide a
truly premium home theater experience.
- Colormaster
Adjust hue, saturation, and color brightness of six different colors
to create picture quality your way. This provides deep, natural colors
for increased depth and realism.
- Color Temperature Control
Most Toshiba televisions provide three user-selectable Color
Temperature settings affect the sets overall white balance. The
"Warm" setting reduces the color temperature to an NTSC standard 6500
degrees Kelvin and delivers a redder image that is ideal for display
in a dimly lit room. "Medium" and "Cool" provide a progressively bluer
image for the best picture as room light levels are increased.
- DynaLight Back-Light Control
DynaLight utilizes advanced PixelPure histogram image processing to
monitor the brightness level of each video frame, and automatically
adjusts the backlight intensity based on the image content.
Precise signal analysis allows for 256 levels of backlight control.
This creates seamless transitions, and a Dynamic contrast that is up
to 5X that of the original panel contrast.
The result is a considerably deeper black level for increased detail
and depth. All 2007 REGZA models include DynaLight to create superior
lifelike images, even in low light environments.
- Native Mode
Native Mode restores the size of the picture by the 3-5% that is
generally lost during the normal over-scanning that occurs on
traditional sets. It also avoids unnecessary scaling of 1920 x 1080 HD
signals when displayed on 2007 REGZA 1080p Full HD LCD televisions.
- PixelPure 3G
Toshiba's 3rd Generation digital video processor runs at a fast
333Mhz, with high 14 bit internal processing.
PixelPure is capable of producing an amazing 4,096 levels of gradation
(16 times greater than an 8-bit processor) for a smooth, natural
picture without image banding.
PixelPure continuously monitors the incoming video signal, adjusting
multiple picture quality parameters including real speed progressive
scanning, dynamic gamma, and now dynamic back-light control and
improved dynamic MPEG noise reduction.
Superior processing creates a superior picture. With PixelPure 3G, all
2007 REGZA models set themselves apart with incredibly deep, vibrant,
sharp, clean and natural images, for home theater beyond your
imagination.
* AUDIO FEATURES-
- SoundStrip Speaker System
This new speaker technology utilizes a thin-line speaker design with
enhanced dynamic range. This eliminates the big round speakers,
without losing any of the big home theater sound.
- SRS WOW
SRS WOW technology takes the performance of the television's existing
speakers to a whole new level, offering the consumer superior sound
quality with no additional peakers required, SRS WOW consists of three
separate sound expanding systems, which work together to extract
"buried" highs and lows. The three systems are, SRS 3D, TruBass, and
FOCUS. SRS 3D creates a three dimensional sound field from just two
speakers, thus giving the listener the feeling of hearing a multi
speaker surround sound system. TruBass produces a powerful, yet low,
frequency sound by utilizing a process called psychoacoustics. From
only two small speakers, TruBass will give the effect of an expensive
sub bass woofer that will leave the listener amazed by the quality of
the sound. FOCUS was added to direct the energy from the speakers of
the television set in a vertical direction up towards the listener's
ears. The addition of FOCUS means that there is virtually no loss of
sound from the speaker's position on the bottom panel near the floor,
which achieves a clear, undistorted range of audio.
- StableSound
This feature maintains television volume within a preset range
regardless of the source signal.

Gloss black cosmetics complement the set and incorporate the slim
SoundStrip speaker system, for rich full sound from a compact cabinet.
- RF Input
An RF (or antenna) input can be used to connect cable TV or an
antenna. On PIP models, this input can be especially useful to scan
both cable and broadcast channels simultaneously.
- Theaterlin IR Pass Through
Through the use of an IR blaster, TheaterLink allows remote commands
to be sent through the set to home theater components, even if hidden
away from view.
