Salaryman and corporate underling Rokuro Okajima spends his days in the stale confines of the office and his nights at the bar, entertaining clients. One day he's given a routine task by his boss: take a trip to SE Asia to deliver an important CD. Unfortunately, a mercenary outfit known as Black Lagoon hijacks the situation, steals the disc, and kidnaps Rokuro for ransom - and what's worse, his boss decides the disc is more important than Rokuro is, and leaves him stranded with the criminals!
